ABOUT THE TUTOR
Georjie Adams founded 'In Her Hands' after witnessing and experiencing the need for safe and empowering spaces for women and gender diverse people to learn everyday DIY and building skills. In Her Hands is a non-profit project that aims to dismantle the inaccessible nature of building and create an empowering space for women and all other marginalised gender identities to learn and explore the fundamentals of construction. They are doing this by teaching basic woodwork/DIY skills and facilitating community building days at our workshop space in West Sussex. Georjie facilitates and teaches woodwork at the In Her Hands workshop space.
