ABOUT THE COURSE
A one day Woodland Management course for those working and educating in the forest. From woodland ecology and basic site surveying, to trees, woodlands, wildlife and the law, this course will give outdoor educators a sound knowledge of their environment and how to maximise its potential, whilst maintaining a minimal impact approach.
In addition, this Woodland Management course will also look at pruning and harvesting wood, hazard tree recognition, as well as theories of minimal impact and leave no trace. By deepening our understanding and responsibilities to the countryside, we will be guiding future generations to not only enjoy the woods, but to truly respect and understand them.
