We run a number of popular willow weaving courses throughout the year at our learning centre in the Hampshire South Downs, near Petersfield. Learn how to make a willow basket, a willow structure for your garden or beautiful natural Christmas decorations from locally grown willow.

Willow Festive Decoration Workshops

Learn how to make woven yuletide decorations from natural materials.

WilloW OBELISK COURSE 

Create a beautiful woven obelisk plant support for climbing plants like sweet peas or green beans on this half-day course.

Willow Weaving Workshops

Join us on these fun workshops and learn how to make an interestingly-shaped, flat-backed wall basket and mini willow bark containers from sustainable willow. 

Full Day Courses

Willow Bird and Birdfeeder Workshop

In the morning, you will learn to weave a stylish little woven bird and, after lunch, you will be shown how to craft a rustic birdfeeder complete with a wooden base. ​

Zarzo Willow Basket Course

This Spanish Style Zarzo willow basket is woven in an entirely different way to our traditional English baskets; the weaving pattern is simple in technique but extremely effective. 

Willow Garden Sculpture

Learn how to willow weave a sculpture for your garden on this one day course. Choose what you would like to weave from a small animal to an abstract form.

Willow Reindeer

Spend a fun day making a willow reindeer about 75cm tall to stand on a windowsill or table. ​
