Join us for a creative day of willow weaving on this fun and friendly course set in the South Downs National Park. Your tutor, Sachiko, will teach you the skills to make two beautiful projects using sustainable willow.

Hedgelaying Course

On this training course in Hampshire, you will gain practical, hands on experience in the ancient art of hedgelaying (South of England style). A local hedge will be laid using traditional tools i.e. billhook, broad axe and hand saws.

Composting Masterclass

A one day course teaching you everything you need to know to make your own high quality garden compost. Horticulture teacher, Jane Gleeson, will guide you through how to get a successful compost heap going and get the mix of materials right, how to look after it and use the finished compost in your garden.

Natural Ink Making

This friendly workshop will teach you how to make your own natural inks from a variety of plants and minerals. You will also have a chance to try a range of natural inks made by your tutor to see how the colours work together and the various effects which can be achieved by using different pens and brushes.
