We provide hands-on activities for eco-work in school too. From hands-on activities to showcasing eco-friendly ideas, we make sustainability exciting and impactful for young minds. Come for a day, or stay with us for a week and experience our schools' programme in action.

Our 55 acre woodland site is important to us, so we limit our activities to those which our natural environment can sustain. On residential trips schools can enjoy story telling and outdoor games at the end of the day, giving even more time to develop self esteem, sense of community and confidence whilst being away from home. Examples of Green Living and sustainable solutions are built into the fabric of the trip.
Our ethics of earth care, people care and fair share (from permaculture), are reflected in our commitment to providing a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for all our under 18 visitors. As a result of the care taken with each school visit we have a many repeat guests for both residential and day trips.
"Our year 3 pupils grew in self esteem; they felt a real sense of achievement at the end of the visit. It was a fantastic experience and all very positive. They felt cared for and safe the centre staff were outstanding!" Kate Heffer Headteacher St, Mary's School, Bentworth. |
Schools particularly value our efforts to make every visit special and bespoke for each class. We want the pupils to feel that they are important to us and we have time to concentrate on their group during their visit. For this reason we take only one class at a time.
"The whole site of 50+ acres is a dream of a natural environment that enables groups to take time to look at and to consider the effect of their actions on the environment." Hampshire County Council Monitoring Report |
