South Downs Green Fair 2005 - 2023
The South Downs Green Fair has been a success over many years. It grew from a small gathering of a few hundred people into a mini day festival with over 3,000 people attending. The first of its kind showcasing green event organising, sustainability in action and a community celebration.
We are delighted that it has inspired many more Green Fairs in Hampshire and beyond.
We have reluctantly come to the conclusion that it is not possible to hold the South Downs Green Fair at The Sustainability Centre anymore, because the size of the event has outgrown our site and car parking capacity. This is not a decision we have made lightly or easily and are very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment caused.
We know that this is a much-loved community event for us, our friends and supporters and we will miss seeing everyone. However, we are planning some smaller scale fundraising and community events, which we hope will fill the gap that our Green Fair leaves. We hope that you will be able to join us to enjoy yourself at some of these.

thank you
A huge thanks to all who came and supported the Sustainability Centre’s annual Green Fair over the years, celebrating all things green and eco friendly.
It has been heartening to host a gathering where so many people came together to share positive stories and to be inspired to take practical action with a common goal of protecting the planet for future generations.
A big thanks goes to the volunteers, musicians, demonstrators, speakers, stall holders, caterers, our own staff team and crew as well as all who came along to enjoy the events.
