Spend a weekend engrossed in developing your skills in willow weaving and basketry on this course in the Hampshire South Downs. On this progressive course, you will weave a lampshade and a basket, giving you the chance to develop and practice basket making techniques. On Saturday, you will weave a willow drum-shaped lampshade using randing and waling weaves. On Sunday, you will build on the skills you have developed making the lampshade to make a small stake and strand basket, with different border options depending on your experience.Â
