SUSTAINABLE LAND MANAGEMENT COURSES
Our fantastically skilled and experienced tutors, Ben Law and Les Brannon, will show you how to manage your land more sustainably on our courses in the South Downs in Hampshire.
This one day course will give you practical, hands on experience in the traditional art of coppicing.
Gain practical, hands on experience in the ancient art of hedgelaying (South of England style) on this one day course.
A 4-day course designed to introduce Permaculture principles but with an emphasis on supporting participants with designing their own homes and gardens.
This is a fascinating 5-day Sustainable Woodland Management course which details and demonstrates all the techniques you would need to sustainably steward a woodland. Aimed at all woodland managers from novice buyers to professionals looking to broaden their knowledge, the course looks at woodland management skills and biodiversity conservation through both practical and theoretical sessions. As an added bonus, the course is split between two unique sites: the Sustainability Centre in the Hampshire South Downs, and Ben Law's Prickly Nut Woods nearby. This enables participants to immerse themselves in different woodland settings and learn how to apply techniques across woodland types.
