Our small campsite is in a peaceful open space surrounded by our beautiful woodlands. It makes an ideal base for a holiday or overnight stay for individuals, families, cyclists, walkers and groups. We encourage guests to enjoy nature and the natural environment, and we hope you will find it peaceful and relaxing.
Our campsite comprises of 10 camping pitches, 1 Tipi and 3 yurts, that can be hired. Click here for more information on our Yurts and Tipi.
The main camping area accommodates 6 family sized (6-berth) tents, 2 pitches for singe person tents, and there are a further 4 pitches are in secluded bays. 'Willow' and 'Forget-me-not' fit a 6-berth family tent, whilst 'Hazel' and 'Yew' bays are a bit more tucked away and fit a 4-person (4 x 4 meter) tent. We have 2 fire pits and four fire bowls on our campsite so that you can enjoy a campfire under the stars. we sell bags of firewood from our Eco-Lodge and main reception for £6.00 per bag. Collecting wood from the site is not permitted.

Please note that ours is a quiet, family friendly campsite. We do not allow music or drumming on site and we ask for all noise and loud chatter to quieten down after 10.30 pm.
Camper-vans / Motor homes
We have a grass area for up to four camper-vans / small motor homes just off our main car park. It is better suited for a one night stop over, whilst traveling through the South Downs. Shared campsite facilities such as toilets and showers are 150 meters across a grass area and through the trees. There is a cold water standpipe next to the camper-van bays and outside the main centre. We do not have any provision for waste or grey water disposal.

CAMPING PRICES for 2016
Toilets & Washing
Our facilities include a solar shower block with 3 showers and a washing up area in a straw bale building. We have 2 compost toilets.
Winter camping is available over winter (November - March) but facilities only include the compost toilets and a standpipe for drinking water. The showers and washing up area are only available from 1st April - 31st October.
We have a wood fired pizza oven and a basic BBQ for campers to use on a first-come first-served basis. We sell charcoal from a small local producer. Jade and Nathan run the fabulous Beech Cafe on site, which is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 4pm (3pm in winter) and serves delicious vegetarian and vegan lunches and cakes.
Walkers/campers who are relying on the cafe for catering are advised to book in advance.
We have 2 fire pits so you can enjoy a campfire, for use on first come first serve basis, and we sell wood from local sustainably managed woodlands.
