Courses for Adults
Cancellation and Refunds Policy More Than 3 Weeks Notice If you cancel a booking with more than 3 weeks notice before the start of your course we will refund your fees. An administration charge of £30 will be deducted from any refund. Less Than 3 Weeks Notice If you cancel your booking within 3 weeks of the start of your course we will not normally give refunds. If there are exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer a refund and the above administration fee will apply. Requesting a Refund For all adult course refunds you must place your request in writing to courses@sustainability-centre.org or our office address below before the start of the course. Transfers We do not transfer bookings to other people but can transfer to other courses if places allow and the above administration fee will apply. Course Cancellations In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel a course or event, or have to cancel your booking for any other reason, we will refund your fees in full. Adult Courses Deposits Policy
Full payment is required at the time of bookings for all courses costing less than £200. For courses costing £200 or more, lasting 5 days or less in duration, we will accept a £75 non-refundable booking deposit per place and the final balance is due no later than two weeks before the course date. Woodmouse Forest School Age Limits All children must be aged between 2 and 5. Adult to Child Ratio A parent/carer must attent with each child. Younger Siblings We can only accommodate younger non-mobile siblings i.e. babies in slings/all-terrain buggies. For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate under 2s who are crawling/toddling. Clothing Please wear appropriate clothing for all weather conditions, waterproofs and wellies. Closed foot wear and covered legs and arms will be required for both parents/carers and children. Dogs No dogs can attend. |

Wetherdown Lodge: 8.30am to 1pm & 4pm to 7pm Mon to Sun
Our Grounds are Always Open to the Public
On arrival please come to the main reception. If you are planning to arrive before the start of the course please let us know.
Please let us know if you have any special requirements. We will do our very best to make courses accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Dogs
Dogs may not be brought along to courses unless a prior arrangement is agreed by the staff and course tutor.
Finding Us
Finding Us By Public Transport & Taxi
Our nearest train station is Petersfield about 7 miles, from which you can catch buses to East Meon or Clanfield (both about 2miles from the Centre).
Finding Us By Bus
There is (sadly) NO bus service to our door. However the following services link to nearby villages. From Petersfield the 52 or 67 go to East Meon and the 37 goes to Clanfield (get off at the Rising Sun Pub if you intend to walk, it is about 2 miles). You can also catch the 42 from Portsmouth to Clanfield.
Finding Us By Taxi
From Petersfield costs about £15 and from Clanfield about £5, A2B taxi number is 01730 233299. There is also a taxi rank at Petersfield train station.
Finding Us By Bicycle
We have sheltered storage where your bike can be secured. The roads leading up to us are fairly quiet although we are located at the top of a big hill!
Finding Us By Car
The Sustainability Centre is situated on top of the South Downs, near East Meon, Hampshire.
Brown tourist signs lead from the A3 slip roads.
From the A3 and A3M
From the A3 take the Clanfield turn off (South of Petersfield and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, north of Waterlooville and Horndean). Follow the signs for Clanfield and the brown tourist signs. Turn right at the Rising Sun Pub on to the East Meon Road. Follow this road for 1.6 miles to the top of the hill. Turn left by the thatched cottage (sign posted to Droxford). We are ¼ mile further along on the left.
From the M3
Take the Winchester turn off (Junction 9) and follow the signs for A272. Follow the A272 until it meets the crossroads with the A32. Turn right onto the A32 towards West Meon and Droxford. You will climb and then drop down to the village of West Meon. Continue on for a further mile and enter the village of Warnford. In Warnford turn left opposite the George and Falcon pub (sign posted to Clanfield). This is a single track lane and climbs up hill for the first 2 miles. Follow this road for approx 4 miles. Ignore all other lanes and signs for East Meon. We are on the right hand side.
From Fareham
Drive to Wickham either via Botley or along the M27. Then follow the A32 northbound. Go through Droxford and on to the village of Warnford. In Warnford turn right opposite the George and Falcon pub (signposted to Clanfield). This is a single track lane which climbs steeply for the first 2 miles. Follow this road for approx 4 miles (going past Old Winchester Hill). Ignore all other lanes and signs for East Meon. We are on the right hand side.
Car Sharing
You may be able to car share to the Sustainability Centre through the Freewheelers website at the bottom of this page.
