TREE FOLKLORE
AN ONLINE EVENT
Sunday 14th February
7.30pm - 9pm
£9
Experience a contemplative and informative exploration of woodland folkloreÂ
In this online experience we will enter the woodlands of Britain to uncover the stories, poems and lore connected to each individual tree. The first part of the talk will give a detailed background to the subject before exploring ways to connect more deeply with the wisdom of trees in your everyday life.Â
In the second part we will discover how concepts of ‘Forest bathing’, ‘Mindfulness’ and deep meditation with the land, are very much entwined in the fabric of our Western ancestry.Â
For this first tree folklore event we will focus on the Rowan, Hazel, Apple, Oak and Yew with further explorations in future events.Â
All participants will receive a detailed electronic information pack a week before the event or upon booking.Â
Presented by Jonathon Huet
The course will be hosted online using Zoom. Participants will be emailed a link to join in the week beforehand.
