Camp Craft Sleep Out

A real back to nature experience for child and parent. Spend a full day and night in the woods, learning to build shelters, fire lighting, outdoor cooking and woodland crafts. Jonathon Huet has extensive experience as a woodsman, naturalist and Bush Craft Instructor, and will give children and parents the skills for any outdoor camping experience or survival situation. Suitable for those of you who wish to hone their skills or complete beginners.
Parents must attend with their children.
Ratio of adults to children 1:3 maximum.

Kit List
A tent.
Please come prepared to work in the open air, whatever the weather!
Please wear warm clothes and bring extra warm clothing to put on at night.
Sturdy waterproof footwear.
Waterproof trousers and jacket.
A hat for the night time.
Water bottle.
A sleeping bag and roll mat.
Bowl, spoon, cup & plate.
Torch
If you do have some binoculars and a camera in waterproof cases please feel free to bring these along.
Food
You will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinking water. Evening meal and breakfast is provided.
Leave No Trace
Remember we leave no trace in the woods so bring as little packaging in your snacks as possible. Also please bring a bag to take all of your rubbish away.
Our Grounds are Always Open to the Public
On arrival please come to the main reception. If you are planning to arrive before the start of the course please let us know.
Please let us know if you have any special requirements. We will do our very best to make courses accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Dogs
Dogs may not be brought along to courses unless there is a Guide Dog, Hearing Dog or similar.
