​In response to HM Government legislation 
Statutory Instrument 2020 – 350 - Public Health England The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (England) 2020 The Sustainability Centre is closed to the general public.

Campsite 

Our camp site is currently closed and we hope to reopen for spring 2021.

Cafe 

Our Cafe is currently closed.

The Natural Burial Site

The work of South Downs Natural Burials will continue to provide a limited service and restrictions also apply to those attending funerals for the safety of funeral attendees, staff and those who are still working in the NHS and essential support services.

People Care

​Now is a time to be mindful of people care in our communities (an important part of sustainability). We all need to do what we can to maintain our own wellbeing as well as supporting others and find ways to achieve a new balance and rhythm in our lives. We encourage you to reach out safely to others in your community and see what you can do to help. ​Please stay well and safe.

We Need Your Help

Like many other charities, The Sustainability Centre is facing financial challenges as a result of the Coronavirus.

Some of our education programme continues however our Eco Lodge and Campsite are closed and events postponed 

In order to preserve and protect this special place,  in the immediate and long term, we will need your help. 

If you are in a secure position (and only if you’re in a secure position) would you consider making a donation to enable us to save our site and our future work here? ​
​Many of you may have contacts or networks which may be able to support us or have other ideas for The Sustainability Centre during this time.  I would love to hear any and all of your suggestions!

​To those of you who have booked courses, events, hires and accommodation, then please consider donating all or part of the money you have already paid us, or  transferring your booking to a future course or stay with us.
