We work with groups of young people and students aged 11-19 from a wide range of backgrounds and in particular we specialise in working with hard-to-reach young people, including those with emotional needs, learning difficulties or problems with drug and alcohol abuse and offending behaviour.

We offer a certificated programme 'Practical Environmental Skills', which covers: Bushcraft/ Survival Skills; Green Wood Crafts & Woodland Management and we can also tailor a programme to suit the groups needs.

Our NCFE trained tutor Sean has worked with a wide variety of individuals and groups starting in 2005 and the Centre is proud to have played a part in each of each of these young peoples lives. We are now a provider of Alternative Education for Hampshire County Council.

Please contact Janet Hammerton education@sustainability-centre.org if you are interested in our Alternative Education Provision.

We also welcome foreign language groups, home-educated groups, gifted and talented groups and FE colleges.

If you are a member of a group (such as the Scouts, Woodcraft Folk, Young Farmers...) and would like an activity with a difference we can provide a choice of activities and the chance to stay on site in the Lodge or on the campsite with or without catering.

For more information about bringing a group to the Centre, or if you're a young person who would like to know more, please contact Penny Rose penny@sustainability-centre.org
