Sustainability Centre gets £46,000 funding from RDPE

We are pleased to announce that The Sustainability Centre has been granted £46,000 from RDPE (Rural Development Plan England) by the Winchester and East Hants Fieldfare Local Action Group.

We will use this to buy a minibus run on recycled veg oil and it will also help to pay for the Woodland Classroom to be built by Ben Law.

The Sustainability Centre, like many rural areas, is difficult to get to by public transport and so the minibus will be vital in providing a low-carbon option for getting here. We also hope that it will mean that more schools and community groups will be able to visit the Centre.
