An evening of Live Music
10 June 2017
Acoustic folk music played in our Woodland Hall surrounded by forest. Folk in the Forest returns as a regular event in June and September this year.
The evening starts with our resident band . . .
Combining Bluegrass with a skiffle band style.
We are a ragtaggle band of misfits with a suitcase, wash tub bass, banjo, washboard, guitar, banjolele, flute, mandolin, harmonicas and a baby.
Followed by . . .
MARY JANE BAND
This band play a highly original blend of acoustic psychedelic folk-rock. The music is a very individualistic and combines self-penned and traditional material, with strong Celtic, Eastern & Medieval influences.
Organised and Compered by . . .
Yogurt knitter and all round good guy.
This event is solely to raise funds for our New Learning Centre. A huge thank you to the bands who are generously donating their fees to the appeal.
