ABOUT THE COURSE
Spend a day and a night in the woods at our idyllic site in the Hampshire South Downs, learning how to light a fire, build a shelter and forage for wild food. Cook dinner on an open fire and sleep in your own shelter whatever the weather. Learn survivals skills, campcraft and campfire cooking. This course will not only teach you those important survival skills which help build confidence and self-reliance in living outdoors but will connect those skills to the traditions of Woodsmanship in this country. Campfire cooked dinner and breakfast, plus refreshments are included.

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Jonathon Huet is a woodsman, naturalist and bushcraft instructor. He has extensive experience of running outdoor courses and of working with a range of people for a variety of reasons. From those with learning difficulties who may be wishing to improve confidence and attention, to those simply wishing to learn a new skill or strengthen a team, Jonathon’s knowledge and teaching style is appreciated by all. Jonathon is a dynamic, creative, professional storyteller and speaker who has Teacher Training in Bushcraft, and holds qualifications in Woodcraft and Expedition Leadership.
